Weed Walk and Cheese Tasting at Beltane Farm in Lebanon, CT

This just got passed along to me, and it seems like just plain fun! I’ll be there for sure.

Enjoy an afternoon stroll around the farmland identifying plants and herbs that grow wild. Learn their uses, history and attributes Join Pam Brundage, an expert in wild plants. Afterwards, enjoy a private cheese tasting with cheeses made right on the farm. Meet the goats, see where the cheese is made.

I got an e-mail notice the other day from the owner of Beltane Farms in Lebanon, CT. They raise their goats humanely and sustainably and make the most wonderful goat cheese. Here’s info on the concert. Looks like a great night for a great cause!

Enjoy an evening of traditional Celtic music right on the farm!

The wood grill will be lit for use,  bring your own picnic -we’ll provide the appetizers- delicious tapas made with Beltane Farm cheese and expertly prepared by A Thyme to Cook.

See the evening milking of the goats- explore the farm, relax and enjoy the wonderful music of the Press Gang!
